Action

All action undertaken
In a spirit of love is good.
For all action is worship
As only the dying know.

While I watch dawn breaking
I imagine the day ahead –
A succession of bright moments
Alternating with sorrow.

Help me, Amida, to accept
Whatever life throws my way.
Bless you for the gift of light.
Bless you for the gift of life.
