From the self to the non-self
Is one way to look at it –
Depression to satori!
What begins as a hard slog
Through unmapped territory
Without a water-bottle
Finally becomes a ride
On a riverboat, with friends.
Enlightenment is not far.
It’s much closer than you think.
Just doing everyday things
And thinking everyday thoughts
Without premeditation.
