Marcus Cumberlege
Who founded Shin Buddhism? You did!
The great masters advise us
With infinite concern
To utter our nembutsu
At every twist and turn.
Namu Amida Butsu
Doesn’t cost me very much
When I realize it’s the Buddha
Wanting to keep in touch.
Take it easy and Keep smiling
May be helpful in their way.
With Amida on my lips
I meditate and pray.
To put it in a nutshell:
Joy, happiness, love and peace
Arise, and swell my bosom,
Grant me sexual release.
This flimsy reed they give me,
This rock on which I build,
Becomes the only practice
With which my life is filled.
