In de Bijlagen tot het Belgisch Staatsblad van 20/12/1984 worden de statuten van vzw Centrum voor Shin-Boeddhisme gepubliceerd. We lezen als doelstellingen o.a.: de kennis, de studie en de beleving van het Boeddhisme te ondersteunen en te bevorderen, in samenwerking en overleg met de Jodo-Shinshu Hongwanji-ha.

In the Annexes of the Belgian Government Gazette of 12/20/1984, the articles of the official association Centre for Shin Buddhism are published. The main objectives stipulate i.e.: to support and promote the knowledge, study and practice of Buddhism, in cooperation and in consultation with the Jodo-Shinshu Hongwanji-ha.

Een paar jaar geleden bevestigden we - na een aantal gesprekken in de groep - onze globale strategie als volgt:

     de leer van de Boeddha
     (1) leren kennen,
     (2) beleven en uitdiepen,
     (3) uitdragen.

Voor 2009 definieerden we zelfs een jaarthema: Boeddha, mijn Buur.

A couple of years ago - after a few group meetings - we confirmed our global strategy as follows:

(1) learn to know the Teaching of Buddha,
(2) experience and deepen it,
(3) disseminate it.

For 2009, we even work we a so called year theme: Buddha, my Neighbor.

Dank zij de financiële steun van de International Association of Buddhist Culture (IABC, Kyoto), de o.a. via de tokudo-opleiding onlangs verstevigde banden met onze hoofdtempel Hongwanji en de support van zoveel vrienden en sangha-leden, blijven we graag energie investeren in hetgeen onze stichter 30 jaar geleden opstartte.

Thanks to the financial support of the International Association of Buddhist Culture (IABC, Kyoto), the recently strengthened ties with our head temple Hongwanji (i.e. via the tokudo training) and the support of so many friends and sangha members, we are pleased to keep on investing energy in what our founder has started 30 years ago.
